I promise you, you need these in your lives! If you’re anything like me, you probably spend most of the new school term trying to train your students. Once the training is in place, the rest of the year runs (more or less!) smoothly. I created these editable teacher templates for morning arrival, to speed up this stressful process. Read on, if you’d like to stop those endless questions of “What do I do now?” and free up your time to work with small groups, without that constant interruption!

Why do I need editable teacher templates?

My favorite time of the school year is the very beginning. Fresh faces eagerly await you in your home from home. The unknown is ahead of you – you look forward to building relationships and getting to know students’ personalities and abilities. But…! You know you have that ‘training’ ahead of you – it’s the same every year! You have your own plans of how a classroom should be organized and managed, and you want your students to fall into step quickly, so you can get on with the job of teaching.

Every year, you hone this ‘training’ to make the process as smooth as possible, but no matter what, you still get those questions – “I don’t know what to do”; “I’m finished, what do I do now?” And isn’t the timing always perfect?! Right in the middle of guided reading, right in the middle of small group teaching, right in the middle of one to one teaching, when you need to be exclusively focused on those students that need your help. So, how do we cut down on those questions, and maybe even eliminate them altogether?

Eager to get it right!!

I couldn’t be more excited to share these editable teacher templates for morning arrival with you! They are so easy to use and I had so much fun making them in all kinds of themes! They come to you in both PowerPoint and Google Slides formats, to give you a choice of platform. Basically, you open the files, add your own text to remind students what they need to do, and display on your whiteboard or SMARTBoard. It really couldn’t be easier! There’s a slide for each day of the week and 3 different styles to choose from – check out the styles below.
